I would recommend going down a size, I’m normally , depending on brand/style either a 6 or 7 , i was told these boots were quite narrow fitting so opted for the 6.5..... I could have gone down to the 6 as they are quite big. I’ve kept them and can wear chunky socks, also allows for feet swelling through the day. Overall really happy with purchase

Rated 1 out of 5 by Alijo22 from Not even a pair! I was so excited to get these boots having been a fan for years - but as soon as I tried them on I realised they were not even a pair! One shoe was considerably larger than the other, and taller. When I checked they had different insoles, different labels, one boot was made in China the other boot was made in Laos. I am so disappointed both with Dr Martens and with Office. Not the standard I would expect for that price. I will be returning them.

I was prepared for the weeks of wearing them in after reading reviews about blisters and sore feets but ive had mine on in the house for hours and im yet to have any problems. They are rather squeaky though but I'm hoping that's because they're patent and they're new and it will wear off. In regards to sizing, I'm a size 7 and ordered my size. They fit perfect. I'm so glad i dint size down. Oh and they look fab!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rpjc from Lovely to look at but painful and unable to walk in them. Lovely to look at. Ordered a 3 and 4. Both had the same issue, they were clearly made wrong. The bottom of the tongue part but in the inside of the shoe was sticking out (big ridge) I couldn’t even walk in them, they left a clear indentation along the top of my foot. Incredibly painful. Shoe size wise though they were huge. Both had to be returned. Gutted as they looked lovely in patten.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jgrego1984 from Look amazing - not for wide feet! :( I’ve wanted these nearly all my life so decided to treat myself recently but unfortunately they are rather narrow (one foot nearly cut off circulation when trying them on!) so bought a size bigger (I’m a 3.5, originally bought a 4 & then a 5) but they were still far too tight over the widest part of my foot :( I’m absolutely gutted. Both pairs being sent back :( x

Fortunately the quick delivery allowed us to return them and swop them at a local office store to save any further waiting as she needed them for school. The staff were brilliant at the Derby store and put up with her 9 year old demanding needs. Dr Martens are a brilliant shoe that's built to last and great quality

This is my second pair of docs now and both pairs I’m in love with. They’re so comfy, they didn’t take much bedding in either. They go very well with nearly all of my outfits which is a bonus. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Blue8 from Sizing really small I'm usually a 5 and wore size 5 DM Boots throughout the 90s so bought these in a 5...the sizing has definitely changed as these are far too tight across the top of the foot despite the length being fine. I treated myself to these with some birthday money but am going to have to exchange for a 6 I think. They look absolutely stunning though!
