Rated 4 out of 5 by tamaraUK from Size & Feel of the Platform Hi CTAS A long-time fan of the classic Converse CTAS hi-tops, I was hoping the thicker sole of the platform version would provide more support and bounce - and they do! They still feel a bit stiff and clompy with my first 3-4 wears, but I’m hoping they’ll soften and break-in with time, as all Converse trainers do. Important note: the Platform Hi version of these CTAS turned out to be true-to-size. Unlike ANY other pairs of Converse I’ve ever bought, I didn’t need a half-size smaller.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Robinsonz from Look great, super uncomfortable I bought these trainers about a week ago and I love how they look. However, they are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I know converses take a bit of breaking in but wow this is a painful experience. I've worn them for the last 3 days and currently have huge blisters on both my heels and am having to wear 2 layers of blister plaster and an still walking like a very slow duck.

I wore them on a short walk, I was wearing socks but the seam inside the heel ripped into my skin; I had to put steristrips on to close the wound. I haven’t been able to put a shoe in for 6 days. I don’t think I will ever be able to wear these Converse again. I’ve never had this problem before with Converse.

I bought these recently having thought the platform converse looked a lot more appealing and would suit more outfits - they go with nearly everything and I’ve had compliments on how they look too! Even better if you’re like me, slightly on the shorter side and would benefit from the bit of height they add

Had to just buy a new pair because they look sooo good when they’re brand new and my old ones were a bit too ‘well-loved.’ Would recommend to everyone. P.s. I’m short and I love the height these give me.

Will be repurchasing, just another size. Sent shoes back a week ago and still no confirmation that return was received though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mcgin from Second pair Lovely converse, bought the white as daughter already has black and loves them. She’s a size 6 but bought 6.5 for comfort as read some reviews saying they were uncomfortable to break in. Her black are a bigger size and she had no dicomfort.
